Daredevil: Born Again, Return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock

A new Daredevil series has been announced.

Not considered the fourth season of a former television series produced by Netflix and now available on Disney+, Daredevil: Born Again is a new series centered around famed lawyer and comedian fighter Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays mob boss Wilson. Fisk, aka Kingpin. The latter will also feature in Echo, the Hawkeye spin-off about Maya Lopez, which will air in the summer of 2023 on the streaming platform.

Daredevil in the MCU

The 18-episode Daredevil: Born Again TV series will premiere in Spring 2024 during Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recall, discussions around a possible new project intensified when Marvel Netflix series, including Daredevil and the limited series The Defenders, were taken over by Disney+ last spring after the rights to these titles returned to the big-eared company. In May last year, it was revealed that a new adaptation of Daredevil for the small screen was being worked on by Secret Affairs creators Matt Korman and Chris Ord, writers and executive producers.
