Framed, Wordle for Movie Lovers

Framed is another variant of the iconic Wordle game. Movie buffs will love this one if it’s all about finding a movie with footage.

I’m the type to end my day playing Wordle (in the French version) and the much more complex Cémantix. A few weeks ago I discovered a new one. If you’re like me and love movies and are looking for something new, you might be interested in Framed. The principle is exactly the same, but with a higher complexity.

How to play frame

If you don’t know how Wordle works and still clicked on this article, besides the fact that the last few months have probably been offline, here’s the thing: Framed offers you a rendered image from a movie. You should try to find the title of the movie in question. If you fail on the first try, the game will offer you another image. These new images reveal more information to you, up to a maximum of six.

So the first image might give you a simple scenery, while the fifth might give you one or two characters. Like Wordle and all its variants, this puzzle game offers a new puzzle every day.

Unlike its predecessors, and Box Office Game in particular, Framed is quite accessible if you know the English titles of the films. You don’t have to be a movie buff to play. Moreover, very famous films are offered, such as “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”, “The Dark Knight”and “The Grand Budapest Hotel”.

Gifted or not, whether you have great cinematic culture or not, Framed is another Wordle option you might like. Feel free to try. And be careful not to become addicted.
