Multiversus: how to change server region
Multiversus is an epic crossover game featuring characters from Warner Bros., Cartoon Network, HBO, Turner and the DC Universe. It’s fun to play as its multiplayer PvP battles are nostalgic as it features characters from our childhood. Since this is an online multiplayer game, it runs on regional servers. This guide is about servers and how to change them in Multiversus.
How to change server in Multiversus
- Start the game and enter the main menu.
- Click the “Settings”button.
- Click on the “Online/Legal Information”tab.
- A side menu will appear to the right of this tab.
- Click on your preferred server region.
- The drop-down menu has regions such as North America, Europe, South America, Central America, Oceania, and South Africa.
- Select the desired region to change the server.
Why should you change the server region?
Low ping ensures the correct and best connection in the game. Higher ping results in lag and server timeout issues. Different servers provide different pings depending on the respective region. Changing the server affects the ping. Another reason to change servers is that matchmaking is relatively easy to find. Playing for a long time on one server increases the difficulty as you progress through the game. On the new server, matchmaking basically starts with a new difficulty level. One of the most effective ways to find an easy lobby is to turn off cross-platform matchmaking in the settings.
That’s it for changing servers in Multiversus.
