All Friday Night Baseball games in August are available for free on Apple TV+, with game challenges for broadcasters announced every week.

Friday, August 5

  • Washington Nationals at the Philadelphia Phillies at 7:00 pm ET
  • Cincinnati Reds at Milwaukee Brewers at 8:00 pm ET.

Friday, August 12

  • San Diego Padres at a Washington Nationals game at 7:00 pm ET.
  • Philadelphia Phillies at the New York Mets at 7:00 pm ET

Friday, August 19

  • Toronto Blue Jays – New York Yankees at 7:00 pm ET.
  • Texas Rangers vs. Minnesota Twins at 8:00 pm ET.

Friday, August 26

  • Tampa Bay Rays at the Boston Red Sox at 7:00 pm ET.
  • The Cleveland Guardians in action against the Seattle Mariners at 10:00 pm ET.

The games will be available for streaming on the TV app in the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, South Korea and the UK. Both the Friday Night Baseball games and additional content are still available for free exclusively on Apple TV+. For those who ask, additional content includes “Countdown to First Step”for previews of the week’s matches and “MLB Daily Recap”.

You’ll be able to follow teams and watch personalized MLB highlights right from the News app. “Every Friday, fans can enjoy a selection of the best moments and stories from across the league,”an announcement in Apple Newsroom said.

Clicking on a story will take you to the TV app to watch the selected game. Apple Music will be streaming classic baseball songs and will provide weekly playlists of sluggers from the Friday Night Baseball teams.

Reporting before and after the game will feature Lauren Gardner, who will be joined by analysts and former MLB players such as Carlos Peña, Cliff Floyd and Yonder Alonso. Former MLB umpire Brian Gorman will continue to offer analysis and interpretation of the rules.
