This feature is already rolling out for mobile search in the US. The American giant has not specified when it will be available in a broader sense, but indicates that it will consider it in the more or less near future.

The company cites the recent earthquake in Mexico as an example. With this update, search results will also show “News from Mexico”, a category that will feature articles from local newspapers written in Spanish but translated into English. Of course, Google Chrome and other modern browsers are quite capable of translating web pages, but Google explains that placing these translated foreign articles directly in search results will offer a “new global perspective”on “important topics.”

The feature, which is currently in beta, is expected to arrive early next year. She will initially focus on translating news from Spanish, French and German into English. No doubt other languages ​​will be supported over time.
