The Mant is a boss that appears in the overhead lab in the game, blocking Dr. Wendell Tully’s path. He is the one who created Manta, considering him to be his last hope of escaping his fate. In addition, Mant is somewhat similar to an assistant manager, as he can only be fought once. Here’s everything you need to do before taking on the Manta in Grounded:

Attack patterns

To understand Manta’s offensive strategy, we will break the entire sequence into three steps:

• Stage 1. Upon entering the arena with a Manta inside, he will instantly attack you due to his aggressive nature in Grounding. First, he will only show three moves from this arsenal, including a normal backhand, a furious ground slam, and a 3-hit combo.
• Stage 2. After his health is reduced by almost 25%, he will hit his chest and scream, calling for help from fire ants. This time, he uses two additional attacks, including a ranged attack with a spore bomb and 3x explosive attacks from behind.
• Stage 3. After that, having reduced his health by almost 50%, he will call for fire ant soldiers to help. The addition in his stage includes incoming web shots from summoned ants that slow you down. Meanwhile, Mant will try to hit you with his 3x combo attack. However, this time he may surprise you with the 4th hit of the series.

Manta Weakness in Grounded

• Elemental Weakness – Fresh is the Elemental Weakness Mant in Grounded. The Peppermint Mace is a weapon enhanced with Fresh Element. You can get it from BURG.L located at Oak Lab.
