Mi TV 5X 4K Smart TV launched in three sizes with long-range microphones, HDMI 2.1: price, specifications
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Mi TV 5X today at the Smarter Living 2021 presentation. The recently launched Mi TV 5X has a number of improvements over the Mi TV 4X. Mi TV 5X comes in 43, 50 and 55 inch screen sizes. All three TV models have support for Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, HDR 10. They run Android TV 10 operating system with PatchWall 4 user interface. GB of built-in memory. Audio on 50-inch and 55-inch TV models is handled by a 40W stereo speaker with Dolby Atmos and DTH-HD support. Other key features offered by the Mi TV 5X series include far-field microphones, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2×2 MIMO) and an HDMI 2.1 port.
Prices and availability of Mi TV 5X Series
The 43-inch Mi TV 5X costs $430, while the 50-inch and 55-inch Mi TV 5X cost $560 and $650, respectively. The Mi TV 5X series can be purchased from mi.com and Mi Home stores.

If we talk about the 55-inch Mi TV 5X model, it is equipped with a 55-inch 4K HDR borderless display with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. The display panel has HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, 88% NTSC color gamut, 96.6% screen-to-body ratio, and 94% DCI P3 color gamut. On the other hand, the 43′ and 50′ Mi TV 4X TV models, as the name suggests, come with 43-inch and 50-inch displays with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The 43-inch model has a 95.4% screen-to-body ratio, while the 50-inch model has a 95.9% screen-to-body ratio. The two variants also feature a 4K HDR display with HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, 88% NTSC color gamut, HLG, 96.6% screen-to-body ratio, and 94% DCI P3 color gamut.
These three TV models are equipped with a 64-bit A55 quad-core processor. They come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Mi TV 5X series runs Android TV 10 operating system with Xiaomi’s own PatchWall 4 user interface. The company has added 75+ free live TV channels and universal search to 30 OTT apps on PatchUI 4. Mi TV 5X also has a built-in Chromecast that allows users to cast their favorite series, movies from smartphones, laptops to TV. As mentioned above, sound the 50″and 55″models are played with 40W stereo speakers, while the 43″model is equipped with 30W speakers. The speakers have support for Dolby Atomos and DTS-HD.
