Jack Dorsey says he can “understand”that Twitter employees, current and former, hold him responsible for the fortunes of the company under Elon Musk. The co-founder and former CEO of Twitter took to the platform to say he was responsible for the situation.

“Twitter employees, past and present, are strong and resilient. They will always find a solution, no matter how difficult the moment,” he wrote recently. “I understand that many of them are angry with me. I am responsible for this situation: I made the company grow too fast. I apologize for it.”
According to him, he is to blame for today’s difficulties.
Jack Dorsey went on to say that he was very grateful to everyone who worked at Twitter. “I don’t expect it to be reciprocated now… or ever… and I understand.”The Twitter co-founder issued an apology immediately after The New York Post ran an article claiming he was “hated on Twitter.”Many employees hold him responsible for the Elon Musk takeover and multiple layoffs that will cut the payroll by about 50%.
This discussion is Jack Dorsey’s first public Twitter comment since Elon Musk’s $44 billion takeover was finalized on October 27. When the SpaceX founder first announced the takeover, Jack Dorsey backed the move. “Elon is a unique solution that I believe in,” he wrote at the time. “This is the right direction… I mean it from the bottom of my heart.” After Elon Musk’s attempt to break his word, Jack Dorsey remained silent, but it was clear from articles published in September that he wants the American multibillionaire to play a more active role on Twitter from then on.
