God Of War Ragnarok: Dragon Beach Nornir Chest Guide [Solution]

In God of War Ragnarok you will face some fearsome Norse gods like Thor. For our favorite god-slayer Kratos, however, this is nothing new. Throughout the worlds, you will come across many chests of the Nornir that need to be unlocked. By solving the puzzles and opening these chests, you will receive Apples of Idunn or Bloodmead Horns. You can use them to increase Kratos’ maximum health or maximum rage. Having these buffs will help you gain an advantage over your enemies. Therefore, we recommend that you open every Norn chest you come across. One such Nornir Chest is found in Dragon Beach in God of War Ragnarok, and this guide will help you unlock it.

How to open the nornir chest on Dragon Beach in God of War Ragnarok (solution)

This chest is located in Bounty Bay in the realm of Svartalfhyem. To find Dragon Beach, turn right after entering Bounty Cove and you will see a gnome statue. When you reach the shore, you will find the Nornir chest under this statue.

Like every Nornir chest, this one will also have a unique locking mechanism. You can open these chests by finding three runes and breaking them. On the Dragon Beach there are runes of the Nornir chests:

First Hidden Runic Seal

The first seal is right behind the chest. However, it is hidden behind a geyser. Use your Leviathan Ax to freeze this geyser and bring it back to break the first rune.

Second Hidden Runic Seal

After breaking the first seal, go right and on the right you will see another geyser and a dragon statue. After freezing the geyser, you will notice that the rune is behind a metal fence. The fence cannot be broken and all you have to do is go around the statue. You will get a clear shot of the rune from behind the statue.

Third Hidden Runic Seal

Turn around and you will see a geyser next to a post with a hook on it. Freeze this geyser and you will see the last hidden rune.

Destroying all of these runes will unlock the chest. Approach it and open it to get Idunn’s Apple.
