PUBG New State: Players under 17 banned from playing iOS version due to age rating change

Krafton has launched PUBG New State for players around the world. The game is a sequel to PUBG Mobile with improved graphics and gameplay. Unlike Battlegrounds Mobile India, PUBG New State is not just for Indian players. This means that players can team up and compete against other players from different countries. Although it sounds funny, what may not please some players is the age limit. The new Krafton game cannot be played by users under the age of 17.

Age Limit PUBG New State

Krafton stated that he was forced to do so due to the required age rating for PUBG New State in the iOS App Store. “A situation has arisen beyond our control, and it was necessary to change the age rating of PUBG: NEW STATE in the App Store to 17 and above. This means that survivors under the age of 17 will not be able to access or play the game, whether or not they have pre-ordered,” Krafton said.

It’s worth noting that the game was open to pre-orders for those over the age of 12 on both Android and iOS. Android has an age limit of 16.

The game did not have the best start after the release. Krafton first made the game available on the Google Play Store for Android. Players who managed to download the game were unable to play on the battlefield due to server side issues. Krafton also posted a list of bugs and crashes found in the game within minutes of its launch. The iOS app was released a few hours after the Android app. Despite the delay, iOS users are experiencing login and gameplay issues. Krafton promised to solve these problems as soon as possible.

PUBG New State contains many new features and updates. He gets a new 8×8 card called Troi. Battle Royale also introduces new weapons, skins, vehicles, and other mechanics to improve the gameplay experience.
