OnePlus 9RT launches when Amazon ad appears in Google search
OnePlus launched the OnePlus 9RT smartphone phone last month in China. A couple of days ago, the smartphone appeared in the list of Google supported devices under the name OnePlus RT. Now, a fresh report from 91mobiles shows that the OnePlus RT could be coming to Asia soon as an Amazon ad was spotted in Google search. Although the brand hasn’t confirmed anything regarding the OnePlus RT (OnePlus 9RT) launch in Asia, a recent advert hints that the launch is just around the corner. OnePlus 9RT: Price
The OnePlus 9RT is priced at CNY 3299 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB variant, CNY 2499 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB variant, and CNY 3799 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant.
OnePlus 9RT: Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 9RT features a 6.62-inch FHD+E4 AMOLED LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a pixel density of 397PPI. The display panel of the device refreshes 120 times per second, and in certain situations, the brightness can reach 1300 nits. This panel is HDR10+ certified and also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 9RT is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, which is built on a 5nm process. While the graphics functions in the phone are handled by the integrated Adreno 660 GPU. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage. The OnePlus 9RT (China variant) boots ColorOS 12 based on Android 12. However, it appeared on Google Play’s list of supported devices with Android 11, so we can’t say that OnePlus RT will boot Andorid 11 or Android 12 out of the box.
The OnePlus 9RT features a 50MP triple rear camera setup with LED flash. The main high-resolution Sony IMX766 sensor on the phone is accompanied by a 16MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor with EIS.
The OnePlus 9RT packs a 4,500mAh battery with 65W Warp Charge 65 fast charging. It features a USB Type-C charging port, dual stereo speakers, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. However, it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, so users also need to rely on a Type-C port for wired headsets. Connectivity options include Dual-sim, 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and dual-band GPS. It weighs 198.5 grams and measures 162.2×74.6×8.29mm.
