Xiaomi to stop selling Mi 11 Ultra after flagship product was out of stock for months

Xiaomi launched the flagship Mi 11 Ultra earlier this year. The smartphone comes with a top-notch Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. However, the distinguishing feature of the device was the installation of the camera. The Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 50MP 1/1.12-inch sensor and two 48MP camera sensors. The Mi 11 Ultra, launched at $940, offered excellent value for money. Within a few months of the launch, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is being phased out.

According to an India Today report, Xiaomi has discontinued the flagship smartphone. The company has reportedly sold all possible stock of the device, which was imported from China. Even the Mi 11 Ultra listing has been removed from the Xiaomi India website. It is not officially known if the Mi 11 Ultra will return. India Today claims that this will not happen and Xiaomi will launch a new flagship in 2022 instead. The company has focused heavily on launching multiple smartphones ranging in price from $200 to $540. Mi 11 Lite 5G was Xiaomi’s latest 5G smartphone. As a reminder, the Mi 11 Ultra was launched in a single case with 12 GB+ 256 GB storage capacity. It was priced at $940.
