Oppo Find X5 Pro bundles 120Hz LTPO display and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in new leak
Oppo is expected to release its new Find X series flagship smartphones later this year. If rumors are to be believed, the Find X5 series will launch in February or March 2022. Oppo is expected to release at least two smartphones in this series: the Find X5 and the Pro model. Oppo has yet to confirm an official launch date. While we wait, a new leak has revealed some details about the Find X5 series.
A new leak from the Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed the key specs of the Oppo Find X5 Pro. The whistleblower deleted the post, but the whistleblower Abhishek Yadav managed to take a screenshot before it was deleted. Let’s take a look at the specs, features and other details of the Oppo Find X5 Pro.

The Oppo Find X5 Pro will be Oppo’s top-tier flagship smartphone in 2022. Oppo’s upcoming smartphone will feature an LTPO 2.0 display similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro, according to leaked specs. The phone will also feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution. The screen is slightly curved on the sides and also features a notch in the top left corner, according to previously leaked design renders.
As expected, the Find X5 Pro will have a 120Hz refresh rate display that will use this LTPO technology to switch between 1Hz and 120Hz. For selfies and video calls, the phone will come with a 32-megapixel front camera. The camera setup on the back will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. The same sensor will be used for ultra-wide shooting with a wider focal length. There will also be a 13-megapixel camera that can be used as a telephoto lens to complete the triple-camera setup.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone will also pack a 5,000mAh battery and is said to support 80W fast wired charging. In addition, the device will support 50W wireless charging.
Oppo will also include its recently unveiled MariSilicon X chip, which was unveiled at Oppo INNO Day 2021. The new Imaging Processing Unit (NPU) is built on a 6nm process and is claimed to deliver improved performance and power efficiency.
At the moment, there is no information about the official launch date. However, we can expect more details to surface online in the coming days.
