Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness: Trailer with Charles Xavier and Captain Marvel

The aftermath of the Multiverse is just beginning in Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness.

Directed by Sam Raimi from a screenplay written by Jade Bartlett and Michael Waldron, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness takes place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The discovery of the multiverse brought many unexpected changes. Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) then asks for help from his ally Wong (Benedict Wong), who inherited the title of Sorcerer Supreme during the Eclipse, from Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), who has become the Scarlet Witch and now wields immense powers that she is all still trying to understand and master, as well as America Chavez (Zochitl Gomez), a teenager with the ability to create interdimensional portals and travel through the multiverse.

Along with discovering the existence of two other versions of himself from across the multiverse, Doctor Strange will also meet new allies such as the minotaur Rintra (Adam Hugill) and telepathic mutant Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), aka Professor X, who will invite masters of the mystic arts to join a group of the Illuminati, a secret association made up of Mister Fantastic, Iron Man, Namor, or even Black Arrow, among others, to protect space-time.

Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness will be released in cinemas in France on May 4th.
