iQoo 9 Gets New Phoenix Orange Color Option: Price, Specs

iQoo has unveiled a new color variant of the iQoo 9. Earlier this year, the company launched its flagship-series premium smartphone. The base model sits below the flagship 9 Pro. It was launched in two colors – Legend and Alpha. The company is now introducing a new Phoenix Orange color variant.

The new iQoo 9 color will be available for purchase on Amazon and iQoo.com starting today. The smartphone comes in two memory configurations. It also has support for 120W fast charging out of the box. Let’s take a look at the iQoo 9 price, specifications and other details.

iQoo has released the Vanilla 9 model in a new Phoenix Orange colorway. The base model of the phone with 8GB of RAM costs $567. The base model offers 128GB of internal storage. There is also a variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Its price is $620. Customers can purchase the device with their HDFC cards for as little as $514 in free EMI options and other offerings.

As for the new color, iQoo says the device was made with geometric glass craft by Frosty AG. It changes color when exposed to sunlight and other sources of artificial ultraviolet radiation. UV rays change the internal structure of the glass molecules, causing the existing color to change to orange. We saw something similar on the V23 Pro, which went from gold to shades of green and blue.

iQoo 9 Specifications and Features

The premium Android smartphone features a 6.56-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. There is an intelligent display chip that uses frame interpolation technology to boost frame rates for compatible applications.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 888+ processor. It is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone has a 4350mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device boots Android 12 out of the box and has a Funtouch OS 12 layer on top. There is a triple camera on the back of the device. It features a 48MP Sony IMX 598 Gimbal sensor. The device also features a 13MP 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera and a 13MP portrait camera sensor.
