Orangutan Gaming by BGMI wins Penta Invitational: wins Rs 10 lakh prize pool
The Penta BGMI Invitational is an invite-only online tournament that ran in two stages from May 1st to May 25th. The league stage is played in a round robin format with 24 groups divided into three groups and the top 16 teams advance to the Final. A prize pool of 20 lakhs was raffled off at the event.
The final took place over six days, and 16 teams fought for the absolute glory of the championship title and the lion’s share of the prize fund. Each day consists of 5 matches. Team Insane Esports, Revenant Esports, Global Esports, Orangutan Gaming and 8 Bit were the leaders until the last day.
After the end of the last day, Orangutan Gaming became the champions of the Penta BGMI Invitational, taking first place on the last day. In total, the team scored 328 points and 190 finishes. Team Insane were 13 points behind and finished in second place with 315 points and 128 finishes. Team Revenant Esports came in third and Global Esports came in fourth.

Orangutan Gaming started the day off with a great start and they provided a chicken dinner in the first match with 14 kills. Godlike Esports were eliminated in second place with two finishes.

The second match was won by Hyderabad Hydras with 9 finishes while OR Esports again came in second with 4 finishes. Insane and OG finished in third and fourth place.
It was Team Orangutan Gaming who again came out victorious in the third match with 11 finishes, while Global Esports was eliminated in second place with 5 kills.

Team Insane Esports won the fourth match of the day with a total of 15 kills, while Blind Esports and OG finished second and third respectively with 5 finishes each.
Revenant Esports prevailed in the final match of the last day with 5 finishes, while Global Esports took the second place.
