If Pokémon Snap arrived on Nintendo Switch in a remastered version at the end of April last year, you might be more interested in being able to play the original game. However, there is no mention of any improvements for the Nintendo Switch. The Wii version of the Virtual Console allows you to post creator snapshots on the bulletin board, but this isn’t strictly necessary as the Switch allows you to take screenshots directly and post them to Facebook or Twitter.
Pokémon Snap is probably not the kind of game that can convince you to sign up for the Supplemental Pack, but with classics like Paper Mario and Kirby 64, for example, Nintendo’s strategy is very clear. Big N has put a lot of effort into adding some of the most popular games from the N64 era to the Switch Online game catalog, and it’s no problem to add games that already have upgraded versions.
