Realme just after the event, Qualcomm revealed its plan to launch a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered flagship. Realme’s upcoming flagship is rumored to be the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. Ahead of the official announcement, the specs of Realme’s upcoming flagship phone have surfaced on Chinese microblogging site Weibo thanks to the notorious Digital Chat Station leak.
The latest tip from Digital Chat Station reveals that the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will indeed feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Tipster also claims Realme’s upcoming flagship will offer a 50MP main camera with OIS support. Let’s take a closer look at the leaked Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition specs.

The upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition phone will offer a Full HD+ curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a notch in the center. Under the hood of Realme’s upcoming flagship will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 has an integrated Adreno GPU and an X65 5G modem.
Recently, an RMX3551 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor was spotted in the Antutu database, which could be the upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition. The system on a chip in the phone is said to be paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. In addition, users will have the option to choose between 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options. The phone is said to come pre-installed with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
The GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is said to come in two battery charging configurations: 4800mAh battery + 150W fast charge and 5000mAh battery + 100W fast charge. In terms of optics, the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will rely on a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. The phone is said to come with a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
