Moto G42 Launched with Snapdragon 680 Processor, 50MP Camera: Price, Specs
Along with the Moto G62 5G, Motorola also launched the Moto G42 smartphone. The Moto G42 has been leaked several times in the past and has also been found in certification databases. The latest addition to the Moto G series is an LTE-only device powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The mid-range phone is equipped with an OLED display and a 50-megapixel camera.
Other highlights of the latest G-series device include a 5,000mAh battery, turbo charging, and a 16MP selfie camera. Let’s take a closer look at the Moto G42 price, features and specifications.
Moto G42: price and availability
Motorola has yet to announce pricing for the Moto G42. We will update the post as soon as the company reveals pricing and other information. The phone is expected to be launched in India as well.

The Moto G42 offers a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display panel has room for a selfie camera inside a cutout in the center.
Under the hood of the all-new Moto phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor and an Adreno 610 GPU. The system on a chip comes paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone has a dedicated micro-SD card slot that supports cards up to 1TB.
The Moto G42 offers a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118° field of view that doubles as a depth sensor. Moto’s latest phone offers a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The Moto G42 is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and 20W TurboPower fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The all-new Moto phone is available in Metallic Rosé and Atlantic Green. The phone boots My UX based on Android 12. It weighs 174.5g and measures 160.4×73.5×7.99.
