Apple Music Voice plan that works exclusively with Siri launched for 50 cents a month

This year, Apple has completed another event. The company has announced an all-new MacBook Pro with improved internals, including faster M1 Pro/M1 Max chips. The new MacBook Pro models also received a completely new design. Along with this, Apple has also updated the HomePod mini with three new colors and released the third generation AirPods. The event was not only about equipment. Apple also introduced a new Apple Music plan called the Voice plan. The new Apple Music Voice Plan starts at 50 cents per month, making the service more accessible to consumers.

Apple Music Voice Plan is “designed with the power of Siri,”Apple says. It offers subscribers access to the service’s catalog of 90 million songs and over tens of thousands of playlists, including hundreds of new playlists.

How do I subscribe to the Apple Music Voice Plan?

Customers can subscribe to the Apple Music Voice Plan via Siri by saying “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice Trial”or by signing up for the Apple Music app. The trial lasts only seven days.

Once subscribed, they can request Siri to play music on their Apple devices. The new Voice Plan supports Siri-enabled devices, including HomePod mini, AirPods, iPhone, or any other Apple device, and when using CarPlay.

As per the plan, Apple has also added hundreds of playlists created by Apple Music’s expert editors that are fully optimized for voice only. For example, users can ask Siri to “Play a playlist for a dinner party”, “Play something relaxing”, or even “Play something like this”for a truly personalized music experience. As expected, this feature is available to all Apple Music subscribers.

Subscribers will get a personalized in-app experience with suggestions based on their music preferences and a queue of recently played music via Siri. Users can also check out the dedicated “Just Ask Siri”section in the Music app for tips on optimizing Siri for Apple Music. The new Apple Music plan launches in 16 countries later this year.
