Clan tags are familiar to COD MW2 players. Whether you want to create a unique tag or match it with friends, it’s up to you. Modern Warfare II will let you use up to 5 characters and make sure you refrain from using profanity. This may result in your account being blocked. Here’s how to change the clan tag in Modern Warfare 2:
- Launch Modern Warfare 2 and then click Start or the menu button.
- There will be different options here.
- Use R1 or RB to go to the extreme end to find an option with a badge icon.
- While under this icon, you will get three options that you can use which are −
- Change business card
- Edit emblem
- Change clan tag
- Once you click on the third option, you will be able to edit your clan tag in COD MW2.
Once again, remember to keep your tag clean and avoid hateful language at all costs. While the game is still in beta, it’s not yet clear if it will be lenient with this kind of behavior.
