Onimusha on Netflix attracts Toshiro Mifune
Although the animated series Onimusha does not seem to be directly related to one of the licensed games, Japanese publisher Capcom will continue the tradition of modeling the protagonist after the famous movie actor. This time the hero is Musashi Miyamoto, a legendary swordsman in Japanese history, and this version is based on the appearance of actor Toshiro Mifune, the star of some of Akira Kurosawa’s best films such as Rashomon, Seven Samurai and Yojimbo.
