Splatoon 3 is a third-person shooter game created by Nintendo. In the Turf Wars competitive multiplayer mode, all players fight using weapons. Along with your weapons, you will need a good set of equipment. The combination of your equipment and weapons determines your victory in any battle. But what if you want to look stylish? How to Transmog Gear Items in Splatoon 3 (Scrub Slots Explained)

Some of the equipment in Splatoon 3 can have abilities that help the player during battles. They can have up to 4 Abilities per item, 3 in the case of shoes. Most likely, players will unlock said abilities on their default gear. Later in the game they get better and want to transfer the abilities they have on the old ones to the new ones. To do this, you will need to transmogrify, i.e. use Scrub Slots, Gear in Splatoon 3. To transmogrify you will need to talk to Murch. You can find March at the lobby entrance in Splatville. But to interact with it, you need to be at least level 4. You can do this by playing online games.

Once you unlock March’s interaction, you’ll be able to refine your gear’s abilities. Scrub Slots or Scrubbing is what you will need to choose during the conversation with March. This will allow you to remove abilities in exchange for 20,000 coins and will give you Ability Fragments. Now you can take ability fragments and apply them to the equipment you want to upgrade. After this step, the transmogrification process will be successfully completed.
