How to complete the Photozomb Challenge in Overwatch 2

The Photozomb challenge in Overwatch 2 requires you to strike a pose with the bride during her introduction. This will earn you Sombra’s voice line that says “Never cross the bride”. This must be done perfectly and within the allotted time, and one character will help you easily complete this task. Here’s how to do it without getting Sombra’s instant attack.

How to complete the Photozomb Challenge in Overwatch 2

  • While the challenge says you must pose with the bride, there is no photo mode or camera mode in the game to use. Instead, you just need to be in the frame/frame when Sombra first appears.
  • Play the co-op mission called Wrath of the Bride until you reach the throne room, where you encounter the dreaded Sombra. You need a key to open the throne room door, after which you will see Sombra’s representation in black and white just before she flips the first switch.
  • If you’re playing as Sojorn, slide down to the trapped Lord of the Castle as soon as you enter and cancel it to jump up to get to the top where Sombra will spawn. If you’re not playing as Sojorn, this will take longer – you can do another run where you’re playing as Sojorn just for this challenge.
  • As soon as you get up, quickly open the wheel of emotions, select one, after which a black and white cut-scene should appear. You will now see yourself in Sombra’s introduction scene! There is a chance that the challenge can be completed even without emotions, but there is nothing wrong with doing it while you are in it.
  • To make sure it’s registered in the game, check for the Challenge Complete: Photozomb notification on the left side of the screen.
