How to remove palera1n jailbreak
If, after trying the palera1n jailbreak, you decide that it is not suitable for you, you may be wondering what you can do to remove it from your device.
The desire to remove palera1n may be due to the fact that it is too buggy or difficult to use; after all, this is a developer-focused jailbreak, and it’s not exactly meant for the average user. Whatever the reason, we’re here to help by showing you how to do it in this guide.
Removing jailbreak palera1n
To remove the palera1n jailbreak from your device, make sure the computer you are using has both Homebrew and Python 3 installed before proceeding (steps 1-5 in our palera1n guide) and then you can follow the following steps in exactly the same way, how do you see them:
1) Open a terminal window and run the following commands to clone the palera1n GitHub repository:
загрузки компакт-дисков
git clone --recursive https://github.com/palera1n/palera1n && cdpalera1n
Pro Tip: Use cd palera1n
the command instead of the two shown above if you have already run the above commands.
2) Once the cloning process is complete, connect palera1n’d to your computer and put it into DFU mode.
3) After entering DFU mode, run the following command in the Terminal. Be sure to replace the part we denote in square brackets with the version number of iOS or iPadOS and don’t enter the square brackets when you do this:
sudo. /palera1n.sh --restorerootfs [ваша текущая версия iOS]
Pro Tip: If you were using the semi-tethered version of palera1n, be sure to add the –semi-tethered flag to the end of the above command before hitting the Enter key.
4) Wait for the process to complete and the device to reboot.
After your device boots up, you should have a stock device again.
Note that you may need to use UICache to remove leftover jailbreak app icons from the home screen, which may include Substitute and/or Sileo.
According to Palera1n team member @itsnebulalol, the best way to do this is to use the cache refresh feature in the TrollStore app.
Conclusion
Now that you have removed the palera1n jailbreak, your device will work as a standard phone again. This means that you won’t be able to install or use jailbreak tweaks again until you re-jailbreak.
