My Favorite iPhone 14 Pro Max Accessories

The iPhone 14 Pro series has been on the market for just under two months, and ever since I got my iPhone 14 Pro Max, I’ve been on an annual hunt for the best accessories for Apple’s latest phone.

In today’s review, I’m going to go over some of my favorite iPhone 14 Pro Max accessories and briefly explain why I like them over other brands and options. With any luck, it might help you on your journey through your iPhone accessories journey.

Batteries are getting better and better every year, with unique features that set them apart from traditional power supplies with cable connectors. When it comes to screen protection, I always turn to ZAGG’s InvisibleShield line of screen protectors because they come with a no-questions-asked free replacement lifetime warranty for cracks, chips, defects, and installation issues.

Since the iPhone is ditching the notch this year in favor of the new Dynamic Island, you can’t just put an iPhone 13 Pro Max screen protector on your new iPhone 14 Pro Max. Anyone who rides a bike or electric scooter might want to invest in a solution to mount their smartphone so it can be seen from the handlebars. This is especially important if you are going on long trips and want to see the map or workout information immediately, while keeping both hands firmly on the handlebars for your safety.

No other mounting solution I’ve tried has been as durable as the Quad Lock system, and given the large size of the iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can only recommend their aluminum Out Front PRO mount. When I go to bed every night, I usually put all my devices on charge so that they are ready to use by morning. After all, I rarely have time to set aside to recharge during the day.

For this task, I prefer a 3-in-1 charging station such as the Belkin BoostCharge Pro, which provides me with a 15W MagSafe charging puck for my iPhone, a dedicated Apple Watch charger that supports fast charging, and a Qi wireless charging base. for my airpods pro 2.

The entire unit is fairly compact for what it is and is very Apple-like in its aesthetic. Belkin built this product with a solid metal construction that will outshine those crappy plastic Amazon specials with Qi-only magnetic charging, so it’s my top choice for all-in-one charging management.

OtterBox Defender XT Series

Generally speaking, I can be rude with my stuff. That’s why you’ll often see me using less than minimal tempered glass cases and screen protectors most of the time.

For everyday needs, I use the Defender Series XT. This is a scaled down version of OtterBox’s famous Defender with full MagSafe charging support.

Not only does this case provide the same protection as the Defender series case, it also offers many additional benefits beyond MagSafe support, including a lanyard loop, grippy edge, and pocket-friendly depth.

Although its installation is somewhat tricky due to its two-piece design, once it is turned on, it stays on unless you intentionally remove it. This means I won’t worry about my phone popping out like I did with some other brand cases.

Conclusion

Sure, there are a few different accessories that didn’t even make it into today’s list, given the wide range of products available for Apple devices, but based on what I’ve tried and been eager to try in my time with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, I can it’s safe to say that they have been one of my favorites so far.
