Realme GT Master Edition Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Announced, Here’s How To Apply

After announcing Realme UI 3.0 early access for Realme GT Neo 2 and Realme 8 Pro, the Chinese smartphone company has announced the Realme UI 3.0 early access program for Realme GT Master Edition phone in India. The third iteration of Realme’s proprietary Android skin, Realme UI 3.0 is based on Android 12 and comes with many new changes and features. The company has taken to the Realme Community Forum to make a statement for the same.

Realme GT Master Edition Android 12 Update Released Through Realme UI Early Access Program!

Users of Realme GT Master Edition phones in India can now update their devices to Android 12. However, there is a catch. For now, the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access Program is available for users who have not updated their device to the latest version, which means that if a user is using their Realme GT Master Edition with firmware version RMX3360_11_A.08, they can apply for the program. However, if you have updated your phone to the latest version i.e. RMX3360_11_A.09, you need to wait for a while. The company says:

The early access registration for the required RMX3363_11.A.09 UI version will be updated soon.

If your device is running firmware version RMX3360_11_A.08 and you want to upgrade to the latest Android version, follow the procedure below.

  • Go to app» Settings»
  • Scroll down the page and click on Software Update.
  • Now click on the settings icon which you will find in the top right corner.
  • Click on the first option – Trial.
  • Click Apply Now and then submit your details.

Realme has not revealed the number of users it plans to select for the Realme UI 3.0 Early Access program. However, it must be a first come first served basis, so you should apply for it as soon as possible if you are interested. Also, be aware that these early access software builds may not be as good as the stable builds and may cause performance and battery drain issues.

The company advises users to back up all important data before updating their phones to Realme UI 3.0 Early Access. Also make sure your device is not rooted. Some apps may not work properly after updating to Android 12 due to compatibility issues.
