Apple updates HomePod software to version 16.3.

Just yesterday, Apple released iOS and iPadOS 16.3, and it provided some insight into some of the UI changes users would expect to see if they had a HomePod or HomePod mini at home.

Apple released HomePod 16.3 firmware on Tuesday, which, as you might expect, goes hand in hand with yesterday’s iOS and iPadOS 16.3 software updates.

HomePod software version 16.3 includes support for new features for your HomePod. This update also includes bug fixes and stability improvements.

HomePod and HomePod mini users can update the software on their Apple smart speaker in two ways. The first is to wait for automatic software updates, which happens if you have automatic software updates enabled. If you don’t, you can install the update manually through the Home app on your iPhone or iPad.

The latest HomePod software update came about a week after Apple released its new 2nd generation HomePod.
