Jailbreak XinaA15 updated to beta version 1.1.7.2 with many fixes and improvements
An updated beta version of the XinaA15 jailbreak tool for A12-A15 phones running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-15.1.1 has been released with a small list of bug fixes and improvements.
Announced by lead developer xina520 via Twitter on Friday afternoon, we can state that the latest beta version is 1.1.7.2, which is a small step up from 1.1.7.1 released earlier this week.
From what we can gather, the latest release contains the following changes:
– Fix dpkg LC_RPATH Library/Frameworks directory.
– Jailbreak bug fixed
The changelog isn’t particularly long, but these small improvements go a long way in improving the user experience.
The XinaA15 jailbreak is mainly aimed at developers in its current state, but many popular jailbreakers continue to use it no matter what. Those using it are strongly advised to update to the latest version to ensure they are using the latest bug fixes and improvements.
If you are not yet using the XinaA15 jailbreak, we still recommend waiting for some more time until the jailbreak matures. While the previous update brought a refreshed and more user-friendly user interface, the jailbreak has been cited as being more difficult to use than most user tools released in recent years.
If you are using an older phone that does not support XinaA15, you can instead use a jailbreak tool based on the palera1n checkm8 bootloader exploit for A9-A11 chip phones running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-16.x.
