Elden Ring: How to Start the Festival (Fighting Radan)

While playing Elden Ring, you will need to start the Festival in order to fight Radan. Now you might be wondering what this festival is about. At this festival, various champions gather to challenge and fight General Radan. And, unfortunately, you cannot fight him without the start of this holiday. But don’t worry, this is the easiest way to start the Elden Ring Festival.

How to Start the Radan Festival in Elden Ring

You can start the Radan Festival by activating the Dectus Grand Elevator. This is the best method, alternatively you can also complete Ranny’s quest. To give you the fastest access to it, for this guide, let’s check out the Grand Lift of Dectus method:

  1. Quickly get to Grace’s location in Eastern Raya Lukaria and head north along the main road.
  2. You will reach the Grand Dectus Elevator. To activate it, you will need both Dectus medallions.
    • The Left Dectus Medallion is located in Fort Haight. And the right medallion of Dectus is located in Fort Farot.
  3. After activating the elevator, quickly travel to the place of grace Impassable Great Bridge.
  4. Use the portal next to it.
  5. Once at Redmayne Castle, head north. There should be no enemies here.
  6. As you walk past Bladed, you will hear an NPC announce the festival.
  7. Talk to him and choose “Ready as Ever”when he asks if you’re ready to fight Radan.

He will announce the start of the Radahn festival.

How to get to Radan

After talking to the aforementioned NPC, head north. Turn right inside the church and take the elevator down. Once at the bottom, use the portal and you will be taken to an area where you can fight Radan.
