Island updates the Dynamic Island interface and brings it to jailbroken iOS and iPadOS 14-16 devices.

Dynamic Island is one of the most noticeable differences between the iPhone 14 Pro lineup and all previous phone models. This handy feature uses the space surrounding the TrueDepth camera system to display useful information about what’s happening on your device, such as the media you’re playing, your personal hotspot connection, and active screen recordings, among other things.

While the MacDirtyCow add-on can bring the Dynamic Island experience to iOS 16 devices without being jailbroken, even if they’re only notched devices, crackers using iOS or iPadOS 14, 15, or 16 can instead try a new jailbreak tweak called Island by iOS -developer of SouthernGirlWhoCode.

With Island, users are not limited to just two widgets at a time, as they are with the native Dynamic Island, and more importantly, Island is not limited to iOS 16 devices and can even be used with an iPad. While Island is not a direct port of Dynamic Island to older devices, it behaves very similarly, except that it offers more features at any given time.

According to the developer on the package description page, Island supports interactive widgets for each of the following:

  • clipboard
  • Pastebin
  • Games
  • TV show
  • Movie
  • Science fiction symbols
  • Reddit
  • Currencies
  • Cards
  • The note
  • Checklist
  • Composer
  • Control center
  • Cryptocurrency
  • Xcode
  • Calculator
  • Password generator
  • Google
  • System Information
  • Low Power Mode
  • Contacts
  • Devices Battery
  • iCloud
  • Battery
  • Network usage
  • RAM usage
  • Device storage
  • world time
  • IPSP
  • Events
  • YOU DID
  • Music
  • Alarm
  • Call history (iPhone only)
  • Power (iPhone only)
  • Weather (iPhone only)
  • Dialer (iPhone only)

Each of the above widget supports can be customized and arranged to your liking. If you don’t want to use any of them, it’s easy enough to disable them so they don’t clutter up your user interface.

It is worth noting that Island supports the XinaA15 jailbreak for A12-A15 devices running iOS 15.0-15.1.1, but also supports other jailbreaks that support iOS and iPadOS 14, 15, and 16.

If you want to try the Island, you can purchase it for about $4.28 on the Gunroad package page. It is not yet known if the developer plans to upload their package to the regular jailbreak repository.
