Realme 9 series will have four models, launch dates revealed
Realme is reportedly gearing up to launch the Realme 9 series. It was previously rumored that they would launch this October, however, during the Realme 8s and 8i launch, the company confirmed that they would launch in 2022 and not 2021.
Realme CMO Mr. Francis Wong mentioned in a tweet that the company had to change its roadmap due to the ongoing shortage of chips in the world. Now, according to the latest figures from 91mobiles, the Realme 9 series is due to launch early next year and will include four phones.

Realme has already confirmed that the Realme 9 series will launch in 2022. A report by 91mobiles, citing consultant Mukul Sharma, claims that these smartphones will launch in February 2022. The Realme 9 family was recently spotted on several certification websites, hinting that their launch is just around the corner. Realme 9 Pro with model number RMX3393 was recently spotted in the IMEI database. Similarly, Realme 9i with model number RMX3491 and Realme 9 Pro Plus have been spotted in EEC certification along with Realme GT 2 Pro, indicating a global launch is imminent.
What to expect from Realme’s upcoming flagships?
There are currently no spec updates for any of the devices in the Realme 9 family. However, a report from 91mobiles speculates that the top-of-the-line smartphone in the Realme 9 Pro Plus series could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
