How to get Hisuian Zoroark in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To get Hisuian Zoroark, you need to buy The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet by October 21, 2023. But it won’t be just a random Hisuan Zoroark. The official page says that an unusual move will be known. So here’s how you can get it:

1. Buy the DLC and check your email for the serial code.
2. Then launch Pokemon Scarlet or Violet on your Switch.
3. Open the Poke Portal and go to the Mystery Gift tab.
4. Finally, select Get with Code/Password.
5. Now use the serial code you got here and you will get the Hisuian Zoroark.

Alternatively, you can even trade it with a friend if they happen to have an extra Hisuan Zoroark or Zorua through breeding.

How to get Hisuian Zorua

The game does not allow you to capture the Hisuan Zorua in the wild. So you will have to cross your Hisuan Zoroark with Ditto to get it. But the catch is that you also need to get your Hisuan Zoroark to hold the Eternal Stone. This ensures that when your Pokémon breeds, you don’t get the regular Zoroark introduced in the 5th generation games. Here is what you should do:

1. Give your Hisuan Zoroark an Eternal Stone.
2. Next, you should only have Hisuan Zoroark and Ditto in your Pokémon party.
3. Finally, start the picnic and after a few minutes you should find the eggs in your basket.
4. Take one of these eggs with you and walk or ride your Legendary Pokémon Corydon or Miraydon until it hatches. After hatching, you will receive Hisuan Zorua.
