October 18th Apple Event

Apple’s “Unleashed”event will take place on October 18th. At the event, the company can finally announce the powerful new MacBook Pro M1X. Rumors about upcoming MacBook Pro models have been leaked several times in the past. Apple is expected to introduce two new models. While we’ve seen the MacBook Pro come with a 16-inch screen size, Apple is said to be increasing the screen size over the base model. Instead of a 13-inch display, the upcoming MacBook Pro is rumored to have a 14-inch display. Both models are likely to feature the mini-LED display that was first introduced on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro earlier this year.

However, the highlight feature belongs to the M1X chip. Both models will ship with an improved version of the M1 chip. It will have a 10-core processor. However, one of them, perhaps the 14-inch model, will ship with a 16-core GPU, while the other model will ship with a 32-core GPU. Apple’s new silicone supports up to 64GB of RAM.

The MacBook Pro is said to have more ports on the outside. Apple is rumored to be resurrecting the SD card slot and bringing it back to the 2021 MacBook Pro. It will also include an HDMI port along with two USB Type-C ports. Finally, both models may have support for magnetic charging.

AirPods 3? May be

Apple may also announce the long-rumored third-generation AirPods at an event on October 18th. The budget AirPods are said to be undergoing a major redesign for the first time since inception. It will have a similar design to the AirPods Pro with a shorter stem. However, there may not be active noise cancellation (ANC) support.

There is no official information from Apple, we will know the details only on October 18th.
