Microsoft Flight Simulator lets you fly the biggest plane ever built
Antonov An-225 Mriya returns to service only in Microsoft Flight Simulator (so far).
A year ago, the largest aircraft ever built by man was destroyed in the early days of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Today Antonov An-225 “Mriya”sets out to explore the sky again, but this time in Microsoft Flight Simulator. In addition, by purchasing the add-on, you can take part in the restoration of the one and only “Mriya”.
Antonov An-225 Mriya returns to service
The Ukrainian-made Mriya was a super-giant transport aircraft with six engines. It was the heaviest aircraft ever built, and it had an unprecedented wingspan: 88 meters. The Mriya, which made its first flight in 1988, was used in particular to transport Soviet spacecraft, tanks, diesel locomotives and dozens of cars at the same time.

The production of the second Mriya was well launched, but the site unfortunately did not work out. Currently, there are several projects to restore this aircraft using components from the destroyed Mriya and parts from the unfinished aircraft. The project cost is expected to exceed $500 million. A huge amount to perpetuate the legend.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator version of the Antonov An-225 Mriya is available in six colors, including the Xbox Aviators Club. The engine is already available in the PC gaming market and will be available in the coming days or weeks for Xbox Series X | S and cloud versions. The Mriya costs $20, and all proceeds will be donated to the restoration of the Mriya by Antonov Corporation. At the same time, the iniBuilds team that created this virtual Mriya posted a manual and many details regarding the aircraft on their forum.
