World map and cafe
The map acts as the hub of the game, providing players with all sorts of activities and game modes. Players will be able to participate and start their own campaigns to earn in-game credits to unlock new vehicles.
The game has much more to offer than just the classic campaign, including a new feature called Gran Turismo Cafe. The cafe will offer players a car collection menu. Players can complete each menu by winning races and championships while exploring the car resort.
From time to time, the original designers of said vehicles may stop by to share their thoughts and interesting facts about the cars in the collection. On the one hand, this is a fun game mode that auto parts enthusiasts can immerse themselves in, and on the other hand, this is a great way for players to organically immerse themselves in car culture and learn more about it.
Brand Central and other auto shops
Brand Central is a mall where players can purchase approximately 300 car models from 2001 and later. Brand Central offers a huge variety of car models as it features car manufacturers from all over the world.
Players will be able to purchase cars with in-game credits. To begin with, players will use a small amount of in-game credits to purchase a compact, which they will use to complete races and earn more credits.
In addition to the mall, there is also an in-game car manufacturers museum where players can learn more about these historic companies and discover the origins of their favorite cars.
If Brand Central proves too expensive, a cheaper version is available in Gran Turismo 7. The Used Car Dealership will provide players with a cheaper alternative, perfect for those who are just starting to get used to the game.
However, some cars in a used car showroom may sell for a higher price than they were originally sold. This may include Japanese sports cars, which skyrocketed in popularity in the 1990s. This list will be updated regularly to include new vehicles.
Legendary Cars, as the name suggests, is reserved only for cars that have stood the test of time and taken their place in the history books. The Legendary Car dealership specializes in such cars.
world track
World Circuit allows players to access many circuits and circuits of the game. At launch, Gran Turismo 7 will have 34 locations and 90 layouts. This includes real world and fantasy schemas.
Several legendary tracks from previous GT games will be available in the game, remastered with the latest technology to look even better than what players may remember from earlier games.
Ray tracing, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
The PlayStation 5 version of Gran Turismo 7 will feature photorealistic graphics using ray tracing. Curiously, reports suggest that ray tracing may not be available during the races themselves, which is common in racing sims.
Real-time weather effects and time simulation will be the most advanced version of the technology, allowing you to perfectly recreate the real conditions of these tracks.
The game will also feature advanced car physics to perfectly recreate the real experience of driving these wonderful cars. Advanced car physics will allow players to fully immerse themselves in the game and get an intuitive understanding of these cars.
One way to link this internal feedback is to use Dualsense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Things like locking brakes will be felt when the triggers are pulled, giving players intense feedback.
Extremely fast cornering will provide feedback to players, and combined with 3D audio, Polyphony Digital attempts to create the most visceral GT experience to date.
