Sony Introduces Three New X Series Party Speakers: IPX4 Rated, Mega Bass and More

Sony has launched a range of wireless portable speakers on the market. The company has introduced three wireless portable speakers in its X series, including the Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500. These newly introduced Sony speakers will be available for purchase in India from August 10th. The Sony SRS-XP700 and SRS-XP500 speakers are cylindrical, while the Sony SRS-XG500 is a premium offering with a boombox design. and has a degree of protection against dust and moisture IP66. Other features of these new speakers include an X-balance speaker that offers Mega Bass and Live Sound modes, USB Play function, ambient lighting, and a long battery life of up to 30 hours.

Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 Price

The Sony SRS-XG500 starts at 360 USD, while the Sony SRS-XP500 and SRS-XP700 are priced at 445 USD respectively. As mentioned above, these new portable speakers will be available for purchase starting August 10th. If you pre-book any of these portable speakers for the period August 10-16, you can get a $20 Sony F-V120//C microphone at no additional cost. These Sony speakers can be pre-ordered at Sony retail stores (Sony Center and Sony Exclusive), ShopatSC.com and other major e-tailers and e-commerce portals.

Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500: Specifications, features

The Sony SRS-XP700, SRS-XP500 and SRS-XG500 portable speakers feature an X-Balance speaker with Mega Bass and Live Sound modes for an enhanced music experience. Mega Bass features provide deep and punchy bass. All three of these drivers have a non-circular diaphragm that delivers less distorted sound by increasing the speaker area. This really means that you will get richer and clearer sound compared to regular speakers. As mentioned above, the Sony SRS-XG500 is IP66 rated, which means it can withstand water splashes and dust. On the other hand, the Sony SRS-XP700 and SRS-XP500 are IPX4 rated.

All three speakers are Bluetooth compatible, so you can connect them to your Bluetooth device and enjoy your music wherever you are. The Sony SRS-XG500 and SRS-XP700 are equipped with a USB playback function that allows you to connect your smartphone to the speaker with a USB cable. In terms of battery life, the Sony SRS-XG500 offers up to 30 hours of music playback, while on the SRS-XP7000 and SRS-XP500 you can get 25 hours and 20 hours of battery life respectively. All three of these speakers also feature ambient lighting, mic input, guitar input, stereo mini jack, and support for the Fiestable app.
