Tiger and Dragon: a new adaptation of the TV series has been announced
Sony Pictures Television is reclaiming the rights to use Tiger and Dragon to make a TV series based on them, hosted by Jason Ning.
American producer and screenwriter Jason Ning is currently working on the television series Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (Tiger and Dragon) and four other Steel Crane Pentalogy novels by writer Wang “DuLu”Baoxiang, published between 1938 and 1944 for years. the struggle of four generations of yuxia, an ancient Chinese folk warrior hero.

The Tiger and the Dragon became known to the general public after the release of the Oscar-winning film by Ang Lee, which used elements from other books. Sony Pictures Television recently regained full rights to this property through an exclusivity agreement with Vertigo Entertainment. Please note that Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee and Miri Yun, as well as Johnny Levin, are executive producers on the TV series Tigers & Dragon along with Jason Ning.
