OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro stable update with Android 12 (OxygenOS 12) rolls out in India
OnePlus released the first OxygenOS beta update based on Android 12 for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro in October. In November, the company released the second public beta update for these devices. A few days ago, OnePlus also released the third beta update for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has officially started rolling out the Android 12 stable beta update to OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users in India. The Android 12 update should be available for the European and global OnePlus 9 series in the next few days. Let’s see what’s new in the software update for these phones.
Android 12 stable update available for OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro
According to the available information, OnePlus 9 users are getting Android 12 (OxygenOS 12) update with firmware version as OxygenOS 12.0.0.0.LE25DA while OnePlus 9 Pro users are getting OxygenOS 12.0.0.0 based on Android 12 LE15DA update. The changelog of the new Android 12 stable software update is similar to the changelog of OxygenOS Beta 1, which was released in October. The new software update includes Android version 12, a new option style for shelf cards, an optimized software algorithm and improved face detection, new diverse line and color styles for Canvas AOD, and more. If you are a OnePlus 9 or OnePlus 9 Pro user, you can go to Settings > System > System Updates to check if a new software update has arrived on your smartphone. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait a few days, given that the software update is released in batches.
