Genshin Impact Cyno Rerun Banner: Is it worth the pull?
In version 3.5 of Genshin Impact, Cino the Judge of Secrets is featured on a re-banner along with the new 5-star arson character Claymore Dehya in phase 1 of event wishes. Cyno is a 5-star character who wields an Electropolearm. Selected 4 stars on his banners: Barbara (Hydro), Colley (Dendro) and Bennet (Pyro). He has appeared frequently in many of the Archons’ quests and is a fan favorite. It was added as part of the Genshin Impacts Sumeru update (version 3.0) and played a very important role in the game’s story.
Is Cyno Rerun worth pulling in Genshin Impact?
Here are some things to consider if you’re fighting for him during his replay.
pros
- Works well with Dendro Units, Increases Elemental Reactions with his skills.
- The explosion has resistance to interruption.
- More damage in this stage of the explosion, since Cino is not easily knocked back.
- Easy to build with 4-star weapons like Catch, which can be obtained by fishing in the game.
- Weapons can also be crafted for Cino from polearm blanks at Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru workbenches.
- His best weapon in the slot is the free 3-star White Tassel weapon, which can be easily obtained through the Wish System.
Minuses
- Difficult play style due to strict rotation.
- The energy cost of the Explosion is 80, best launched with an Electro-character (Battery) such as Fischl, Raiden Shogun or Kujo Sarah.
- E Skill releases AoE electro attacks; Burst converts normal attacks into Electro. This results in loss of damage as the ability does not stay on the field when Cino switches to another character.
- Not the best option when it comes to quickly exchanging commands. Kamisato Ayaka is in the second half of Event Wish and she is a great DPS and also effective on quick-replace teams.
- The explosion has a synchronized phase to increase damage dealt.
Note for new players: The term “battery”refers to a character that can produce a lot of energy for another character whose damage is highly dependent on his elemental explosion.
Quick Tip
The current 4 stars on his banner, with the exception of Bennett (Pyro), is not the best choice when it comes to team composition. When it comes to preferences, everyone has their favorites, but team composition and damage scaling are definitely important aspects that players are looking for.
