‘The Lost Symbol’: Dan Brown’s film adaptation of prequel book is not renewed

No second season of The Lost Symbol on Peacock.

Streaming platform Peacock stops charging for The Lost Symbol series despite a decent audience: “We were so proud to bring this action-packed detective thriller to our subscribers and we loved watching this exciting series unfold with a satisfying and complete story. We are grateful to Dan Dworkin, Jay Beatty, Dan Brown, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard, as well as CBS Studios, Imagine Television Studios and Universal Television for bringing this world-famous best-selling novel to life.”

The ten episodes of Dan Brown’s Lost Symbol follow the early adventures of young Harvard symbolist Robert Langdon (Ashley Zuckerman) as he must solve a series of deadly CIA puzzles in order to save his kidnapped mentor and thwart a global conspiracy. Comedians Rick Gonzalez, Valorie Curry, Sumalee Montano, Eddie Izzard and Beau Knapp also star.
