How to get Hydra in Diablo 4 (Sorcerer)
One of the best things about playing as a Wizard is that you can attack from a distance while your summons do most of the attacking for you. If you want to do an OP Sorcerer/Sorcereress build, you need to know how to get Hydra (or even 2x Hydra) in Diablo 4. This guide will show you how.
How to summon a Hydra in Diablo 4
- Once you have chosen the Wizard class, you need to keep playing the game, killing enemies, completing in-game events, and earning skill points.
- Spend those skill points on basic skills first and then move on to basic skills. This will unlock defensive skills – choose the ones you prefer.
- Finally, you will reach the Spell, where you can unlock the three-headed Hydra.

This call will spit fire at enemies, even when attacking them from afar. This will alert you to off-screen enemies that are approaching your position. For more strength and damage, spend a point on Enhanced Hydra, which will allow your Hydra to gain one extra head. As you will see in the Hydra pop-up window, you can have no more than 2 Hydras active at the same time.
How to get 2 hydras to double the damage
As YouTuber Worthy Prince explained, if you find a weapon (such as the legendary staff of the serpent seer) that allows you to have 1 extra active hydra, you can unleash an 8-headed monster on enemies and destroy them faster than usual.
Pair this with Blizzard (or Enhanced Blizzard), lightning, frost or fire abilities and you can stop enemies in their path while the Hydra burns them to the ground.
