All details and POIs on Warzone 2 maps (Al-Mazra Island and Asika)
So far, Warzone 2 has introduced two new maps, namely Al Mazra and Asika Island. Both are larger than their counterparts in MW’s previous Warzone game 2019. These maps are masterfully crafted with great detail and design. With gameplay in mind, COD maps are designed to work well with a large number of players in Warzone 2. Warzone 2 map details and POIs for Al Mazra and Asika Island
Al Mazra and Ashika Island are the main components of what sets Warzone 2 apart. At the same time, these maps are designed with the new gameplay elements of Warzone 2 in mind. Let’s take a look at each map and learn more about them one by one.
Al Mazra Map
Al Mazra is located in a fictional country in the Modern Warfare universe called the Republic of Adal. The map is much larger than Verdansk from the original Warzone and has a different setting and theme. It is said to be the largest BR map COD has ever made. In fact, it is so large that it splits into three different rings and then merges into one at the end.
Water is a new feature on this map, as it was previously impossible to enter water. You can even drive boats and jet skis on rivers and spin using the water. This map also featured a 2v2 gulag which was new to the series but has since been removed due to poor reception. This map also has 2 trains going in each direction that rotate around the edges of the map, making it an option if you need to move quickly around the map.
It also features fortresses, places where an enemy AI has taken over a building. You can kill them and invade this building to get guaranteed equipment.

Map of Asika Island
The map of Ashika Island is smaller than Al Mazra in Warzone 2. This map was added a couple of months into Season 2 after the launch of Warzone 2. Although smaller than Al Mazra, it is still larger than the respawn map. in the original Warzone, also known as Rebirth Island. Ashika Island is a small archipelago located in an unknown location somewhere in the Asia-Pacific region. Initially, it was conceived as a resort, but work on it was stopped for unknown reasons.
This map has a new feature called “Drone Remapping”that allows you to jump in the air and deploy your parachute again, as if you were landing. places very quickly.
It also features a huge underground water tunnel called the Waterways, which can be accessed across the map by walking underneath. This map currently only has a spawn mode, but it may have a normal BR later on.
