Leaked Xiaomi 12 renders reveal detailed design and colors: what we know about the phone so far

Xiaomi is ready to release the Xiaomi 12 series phones in its home market on December 28th. The brand has confirmed that it will launch Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro in the lineup. Now, ahead of the launch, Evan Blass has leaked renders of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship. The renders show the color variant and the back panel of the device. Let’s take a closer look at the renderings and design of the Xiaomi flagship.

Xiaomi 12 Design and renders

The leaked renders further confirm that the Xiaomi 12 will be a compact flagship with a 6.28-inch screen. The renders show a curved display on the front with a punch hole in the center. In addition, you can see a triple rear camera and a dual-tone flash on the back. The main sensor on the device will be a 50-megapixel shooter. The design of the camera module on the device is reminiscent of the Mi 10T.

Other than that, the renders also show the phone in a green color variant with vegan leather trim. The device will also be available in blue and gray color options.

Xiaomi 12 Specifications and Features

Just yesterday, detailed specifications and prices for the upcoming flagship were leaked through a poster. According to the leak, the phone will sport a Full HD+ resolution AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, and Dolby Vision. The display of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship has also received a Display Mate A+ rating.

The device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The main sensor on the device will be a 50MP sensor with 1/1.28-inch resolution and OIS support. The device will also feature a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 123-degree field of view. There will also be a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. It will download MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
