Realme has yet to confirm the key details of the device. While we wait for the official announcement, new design renders of the Realme 9i have been leaked online. Let’s take a look at the Realme 9i’s specs, features, design and other leaked details.

Realme 9i design renders

Renders of the Realme 9i have been leaked ahead of its launch. The budget smartphone is expected to go on sale in January 2022 in other markets as well. Design renders leaked on OnLeaks and 91Mobiles show the phone will get a major redesign over the 8i. It will have a rectangular camera module with a similar sensor layout to the GT Neo 2. The phone has a triple camera on the back with an LED flash. The details of the camera sensors are currently unknown. Following a recent trend, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a phone with a 50MP main camera sensor. The back panel of the device will be made of plastic with vertical stripes.

There is a hole-punch camera cutout on the front in the upper left corner of the screen. The screen is flat and is expected to feature an LCD panel. Rumors suggest that the Realme phone will feature a 6.5-inch Full HD+IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

On the left edge of the device are the volume up and down keys, while the power button, which acts as a fingerprint scanner, is on the right edge. The bottom edge has room for a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker grill, and a main microphone.

Other leaked details include a Snapdragon 680 processor and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone is expected to run Android 11 out of the box with a Realme UI layer on top.
