Realme 9i launches January 10th in Vietnam. The Realme 9i is the first handset under the Realme 9 series. Ahead of the Vietnam launch, Realme VP Madhav Sheth posted a new teaser on his Twitter account. While Sheth didn’t mention the Realme 9i in his tweet, the teaser image shows the 9i in Prism Blue color variant alongside the Realme Book Slim. Recently, promotional materials about the new phone were leaked online. The leaked promo material reveals the full specifications of the Realme 9i.

Realme 9i Specifications and Features

The 9i will sport a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It will have a punch hole in the top left corner of the display. The phone will have a bezel-less design with a screen-to-body ratio of around 90.8%.

The 9i will be based on the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, created using a 6-nm process technology. Snapdragon 680 uses ARM Cortex A73 and Cortex A53 cores. It comes with Adreno 610 GPU. Realme 9i will offer 128GB of storage.

In terms of optics, the 9i will offer a triple rear camera and LED flash. The design of the camera module on the device is very similar to that of the Realm GT Neo 2 and Realme GT 2. The main shooter on the device will be a 50MP sensor, which will be accompanied by a black and white portrait lens and a macro lens. For selfies, it will offer a 16 MP shooter.

The phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery and 33W DartCharge. It will offer a Type-C port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a stereo speaker setup. The phone will be available in Prism Blue and Prism Black color options. It will come pre-installed with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.
