Apple is working on an OLED iPad Pro
The next iPad Pro may have an OLED screen with an LTPO panel for a wider refresh rate.
Apple’s iPad Pro lineup currently consists of a large 12.9-inch model with a mini LED display, as well as an 11-inch model with a smaller, less expensive LCD display. That being said, if DSCC co-founder and CEO Ross Young is to be believed, that could change with the arrival of the next generation iPad Pro.

According to the analyst, the Cupertino company could significantly upgrade these two tablet models using OLED screen technology. This is the same technology found in other Apple products such as the iPhone and Apple Watch. Ross Young’s report also cites a report from Korean website The Elec claiming that LG wants to be Apple’s OLED panel supplier.

The report also clarifies that OLED screens may include LTPO panels, which are already used in the iPhone 13. With such panels, the screen can achieve higher refresh rates.
By comparison, the current iPad Pro’s screen refresh rate ranges from 24 to 120Hz, unlike the iPhone 13, which can scale from 10 to 120Hz. tablet to offer even more autonomy. However, no one knows that the new generation of iPad Pro could be styled by the Cupertino company. We will have to wait.
Apple last updated its iPad Pro in 2021. Then the tablet was entitled to a significant performance improvement by integrating the M1 chip for both variants, 12.9 and 11 inches.
