iQOO Z6 price likely to be $196, teaser hints

iQoo is getting ready to launch its next Z series phone, the iQoo Z6 5G. A recent leak suggests that the launch of the iQoo Z6 is scheduled for March 16th. Ahead of the launch, iQoo hinted at the price of the upcoming Z-series phone.

In a YouTube ad, the company said the iQoo Z6 will be the fastest 5G smartphone in the $196 segment.

However, there is an asterisk right next to the 15K text. Thus, there is a possibility that $196 will be the price taking into account the offers of the bank. Or it could also be an introductory quote that only applies to a few initial sales.

The company also revealed some of the key specs of the upcoming iQoo Z6 at the launch microsite. This shows that the upcoming iQoo Z6 5G will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor and an integrated Adreno 619 GPU. The Snapdragon 695 processor is based on a 6nm processor and equipped with an X51 5G modem.

In addition, iQoo also unveiled Antutu test results for the upcoming device. As mentioned on the launch microsite, the upcoming iQoo phone managed to score 410,563 on the latest version of the Antutu test. The company has also confirmed an 8GB RAM variant for the device. We can also expect the brand to release it in a 6GB RAM variant as well.

In the mid-range these days, OEMs are opting for the Snapdragon 695. The same processor is used in several other mid-range phones, including the Poco X4 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Realme 9 Pro, Vivo T1, and more. The iQoo Z6 launch microsite also reveals that the phone will offer a triple rear camera and LED flash.
