Iqoo Neo 6 SE Launched With 120Hz AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 870 SoC: Price, Specs

Today, Iqoo introduced the affordable flagship smartphone Neo 6 SE in China. The Iqoo Neo 6 SE is the second device in the series after the Iqoo Neo 6 launched back in April. While the Neo 6 was a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship phone, the Neo 6 SE is a more affordable flagship device with the latest generation Sndpragon 870 SoC.

The Neo 6 SE is the successor to last year’s Iqoo Neo 5 SE. We have not seen Iqoo launch Neo series phones in the past as they are usually released as rebranded Iqoo Z series devices. It will be interesting to see if Iqoo Neo 6 SE comes out. Let’s take a closer look at the prices and specifications of the phone.

Iqoo Neo 6 SE: price and availability

The base variant of the Iqoo Neo 6 SE comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its price is 1999 yuan, the 8GB + 256GB model is 2299 yuan and the 12GB + 256GB variant is 2499 yuan. The phone is already available for pre-order in China. Color options include orange, interstellar, and neon.

Specifications and features

The Iqoo Neo 6 SE features a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ content and offers a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC with a maximum clock speed of up to 3.2GHz and is paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. The Neo 6 SE offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The company says the phone has undergone 11 performance tweaks to improve its performance.

In terms of cameras, the device features a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Neo 6 SE is powered by a 4700mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. The phone can go from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes. In terms of dimensions, the phone is 8.54mm thick and weighs 190 grams. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12, Bluetooth 5.2, liquid cooling system, X-axis linear motor, and NFC.
