How to Find All Liked and Saved Videos on Instagram
So you’re trying to show a friend or two a hilarious video you liked or saved on Instagram, but where is it? Unlike TikTok, Instagram doesn’t make it clear where you should find your liked and saved videos. Fortunately, we can help.
Since its inception, Instagram Reels has grown into a decent copycat of TikTok, but it still has issues. For example, the maximum video length is 60 seconds, while TikTok videos can now be up to 10 minutes long. And there’s another reason why you’re here: it’s not very obvious where all your favorite and saved reels go.
Saved reels are much easier to find than favorite reels. We recommend that you save the reels instead of loving them whenever you can, as this will make it much easier to find them later. However, likes are also useful for giving creators some appreciation, so it’s good to do both.
Finding Saved Drums
To access your saved reels, click on your profile tab in the bottom right corner, then the menu icon in the top right corner. Now click Saved and you’ll find the All Posts album as well as any custom collections you’ve created. Open All Posts and you’ll see everything you’ve saved from all your time on Instagram.
The Reels logo will be superimposed over the thumbnail of the reels, which looks like a film clapperboard. Instead of regular videos, a play button will be displayed. The photos won’t have any ID as they don’t need one, but posts with multiple images and videos will show up with a layers icon.
Instagram also has tabs for reels and regular videos at the top, so you can only view saved reels by clicking on this view. It definitely helps to narrow things down.
All your saved videos will appear in the All Posts album, but you can create custom collections to categorize things and then select the saved videos you want to include in it. Once a collection is created, you can open it, tap on the three dots, and select “Add to Collection”to select more saved content. Unfortunately, you can’t add to collections the first time you save a video like you can with regular video posts.
Find your favorite drums
Finding liked videos works in the same way as finding liked posts, but it doesn’t make things easier. To get started, click on your profile tab in the bottom right corner, then the menu icon in the top right corner. Then go to Your Activity -> Interactions -> Likes. (You used to have to go to Settings -> Account -> Liked Posts, but Instagram has moved likes to the Activity section.)
Just like browsing saved posts, this section shows all the Instagram posts you’ve ever liked, making it hard to find an individual video. Oddly enough, unlike saved media, your thumbnail history will have only one video icon overlaid on it – the video camera – so it’s impossible to distinguish clips from regular video posts without opening each one.
However, you can click Sort & Filter to change the order from Newest to Oldest to Oldest to Newest. You can also select a start and end date to reduce the number of search results.
